Lonesome Fowl is interested in a variety of poetic styles, as long as the writing is fresh. in the words [ripped and disorted] of Emily Dickinson, "make it slant."

Fiction:
submit up to 3 stories of a web-friendly length (under 10 pages) to lonesomepress [at] gmail dot com. please attach your submission as a .doc or .rtf; submissions pasted into the body of the email or attached in any other format will not be read. include a short author's note in the body of your email.

we at Lonesome Fowl care a lot about fiction hitting the online scene right now. our basic philosophy is as follows: tell us a story we haven't heard before or seen in a movie and tell it in a way leaving us wanting more. easy enough, right? thought so.

Non-Fiction:
fancy that, we're interested in essays! submit up to 3 essays of a web-friendly length (under 10 pages) to lonesomepress [at] gmail dot com. please attach your submission as a .doc or .rtf; submissions pasted into the body of the email or attached in any other format will not be read. include a short author's note in the body of your email.

as for non-fiction, Lonesome Fowl likes the near unbelievable stories that happen to everyday people with the volume at 11. intriguing, unfamiliar essay topics are encouraged. basically, wow us.
